Just check the comparative health statistics. Whatever the anecdotes may say to you, the statistics tell a quite different story. We may do better by the very rich and, perhaps, by the not quite rich, but we do terribly for the poor and the working poor.

Providing good health care to everyone hardly strikes me as a political issue. But, unfortunately, the big money has made it so.
