Bruce, it's all about expectations in the Markets and Life, for that matter. I love a Hawaiian saying. I'm paraphrasing but it goes something like, "To be happy, you can get more or lower your expectations".

Another good one -- "No rain, no rainbows"

***

The Markets often forget the big picture and get hung up on numbers. It's been a Wall Street and company game for years. Microsoft probably gets credit, for instance, for purposely understating expectations so they beat numbers the next quarter. What can you do? Anything above 1.1 is pretty outstanding in my book and 1.26 is a number I sure wouldn't have thought 5 months ago that the SOX index would drop on.
