Message 17623524 The article you linked called "Merging WLAN, WWAN Radios in Mobile Designs" written by 3 TI engineers is very good. Interesting comments on GPRS/EDGE as WLAN as they relate to power consumption, performance metrics, market windows, and device cost, size, and weight. Some here may also find it interesting.
