INTC has used up their $3 billion plus investment buffer...I'm still not clear what they are going to do with that $5 billion in questionnable value goodwill sitting on the balance sheet...I seem to recall that it has to be written off in FY02...If so, no doubt, it will not be factored in to eps calcualation but entered as a "one time" transaction...Also as previous posts indicated, INTC's netPPE/revenues ratio has skyrocketed over the past 2 years, implying that there is no longer much in the way of "depreciation play" left...Just nowhere to hide for INTC this q2, not unlike AMD, methinks...
