Paul,this is one of reason Dell does so well! Everytime AMD comes up w. something CPQ wants to get in on action on both sides. Anyway, i have cpq & dell leaps so i should not complain. Belive me, i am eating much better. In march/april I nearly died as intel went under 130(127) and Naz was at 1200. I think intel will keep finding more effiecient ways of getting products out the door. I have heard Bill Gates and Andy &team have made several trips to India. So, maybe they will find some cheaper eningeering talenets in India.. Unlike Koke, Intel/msft to put lots of money in R &D. Paul, I keep thinking if Intel is putting up all these fabs they must have plans to keep those fabs busy for many years to come ! So when people say down turn in PC market, what will intel do with fabs if they can't keep them full?
