That's wishful thinking. It assumes that Intel is still "burdened with success." Judging from current market conditions, I'd say Intel really doesn't have that "burden" anymore.

Chomolungma on the Mod AMD thread put it best. AMD's business plan is self-destructive. I would add that only some sort of price collusion would make AMD's plan successful. Maybe now that's Jerry's retiring, AMD would consider that alternative more, but I really doubt it.
