Jim- Can you explain why Intels .13u is a year ahead of AMDs? Easy question, because Intel is the best in manufacturing. AMD is OK, but Intel is king. Of course, in chip design, things are different. Why is Hammer a year late? Because they are doing new things and sometimes things go wrong. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If the Hammer works as advertised, it will be a huge success and everyone will forget about the delays. Why won't the early T-breds scale? Early Palominos didn't scale either. We'll see, the jury is still out. OK? No need to hear that meanspirited bashing.
