As others have said, it ultimately comes down to *when* the upturn occurs. I, for one, wouldn't have considered the possibility that Q2 2002 could be any worse than Q2 2001, yet here we are, and both Intel and AMD have cut forecasts in a big way. I sure do hope that June sales are better than April or May, but what I'm really looking towards is longer term, and whether we can get back to normal growth levels, or if we are going to be in a perpetual "flat" state. That would effectively make any conceivable advantages that Intel has irrelevant. Of course, AMD will likely go bankrupt in another year or so if things do not improve.
