Not so Kenneth. It is widely known that the gas tax goes into the general fund, and highway construction is paid out of both Federal and State general funds depending on the road project. Why do you think that we have gridlock? Since Gary Locke has been Governor, he has approved only 10 miles of new road in the State of Washington. We are lucky to get a new stripe down the middle of existing roads every 6-7 years. If that were true there would be a heck of a stock pile of money earning interest in anticipation of new road construction.

BTW did you get a chance to provide a link to the over 55 health care catastrophe you wrote about earlier?
