A low volume launch could also have the effect of decreasing interest in TBred. AFter all, everyone knows that Hammer will not stay at $1000 once heavier production starts. Why buy a dead-end system that can't be upgraded to the best?

Ask yourself if you want a low-volume launch just so you can win bragging rights or because it will have a positive economic effect.

So I continue to think the best strategy is to claim Clawhammer systems won't be ready until 2003. Then spring it on everyone in October.
