Gary, re: AMD's burn rate I was surprised by the convertible bond offering in January but it was well timed given subsequent events. While it was known AMD was planning for its next fab... I think the reason for the offering was to address the current portion of its long-term debts. At losses of $200M/qtr I think AMD would be hard pressed in a year. There may also be specific loan guarantees which could be triggered - I haven't studied these portions of the annual report and they are probably not fully detailed anyway.
