Don't forget about the exploration spin-off. It was worth up to $1 (~twice cash per share), at least in normal times.

I would understand if they left 0.54 ratio as it was and replaced the exploration playground with the warrants.
But they took away 0.155 of PAA, worth today ~1.78, replaced it with warrants under water, i.e. worthless today, and canceled the spin-off. At today's prices, it amounts to a shave of ~ -2.78.

This IS a nice premium.

Let me paraphrase ClinSHton, everything depends on your definition of the word 'be'.

I guess one could say that 'be' means in this case 'be in five years' and 'not to be today'.
Mind you, Clintonese is a very difficult language to master. I am not an expert. Just a puking spectator.
Last time legal experts tried to come up with a dictionary, they were not able to move beyond the first word in that language, i.e. 'be'.

Still puking....
