In a country that values free speech, even the most vile, hateful, disgusting puke can be put on public display -- but if others don't stand up and condemn it for what it is, then we have lost something almost as dear as the right to free speech -- our human dignity. I would include in this category strong expressions of racially motivated hate literature, much of which over the years has been used with varying degrees of success to actively promote mass murder. For groups that promote these views, our new and more violent world of terrorism and the increasing prospects for mass murder are very helpful in providing an environment where hatred can thrive. Craig only began his diatribes in the wake of mass murder in New York. This is no coincidence.
