AG is so much of a public figure that whatever sounds he's emitting, they all go into the read-his-lips pipeline: "Was that a spin? Or a wisecrack? Stomac rumble?" In essence he's a casualty (or promulgator) of some sort of a social Heisenberg inequality ("if you talk about it, you'll change it"). Of course it comes to what the talk is all about... There was a hilarious cartoon in NY some time ago, showing him in front of some senate committee. Text: 'Twas brillig and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome twentyfive basis points. The flowing nonsensical verses by Lewis Carrol just join seamlessly with AG's deep thoughts.
