I ran out of good ideas or ways to sense the market direction along with everyone else it seems. Still bullish on
selected small caps, still convinced that investors are willing to gamble (casinos and hot stocks), but i dont believe
there is money on the sidelines waiting to roar back into any big caps.
I am going to go negative here on the general market and short some issues - enough to cover my long positions in case things get worse. Have already shorted MO and FORD by buying cheap puts.
May get lucky today as MO is indicting down and autos have been downgraded.
People have been spending out the gazoo on new trucks and cars with vast acres of new cars and old on the lots. Call it a bubble. Like when there was an S+L on each street corner. Airlines are going to be( always were) in deep trouble. Never made a nickle for shareholders.

How about that ESST- they report well, and now get downgraded to a sell ? Getting to be a habit.
