This may be the "licensing problem" Nokia cited re: its potential CDMA production in China.

How to square this circle?

It could be done by buying Q's 1x chips, but that is probably Nokia's last choice.

Will be very interesting to watch.

And on a broader basis, when and how will Nokia produce a 1x data capable phone for sale anywhere in the world?

Wonder how Texas Instruments is doing on providing the wherewithall?
