Tetra Tech Wins $15 Million Homeland Defense Contract from the Corps of Engineers
PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 2002--Tetra Tech (NASDAQ:TTEK - News) announced today that it was selected to receive a new $15 million, 3-year consulting and engineering contract from the Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract provides for a wide range of homeland defense services and security engineering related to infrastructure, primarily within the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
This is the first Corps of Engineers contract of its kind to exclusively address infrastructure homeland defense. The Security Engineering and Homeland Defense program will help to evaluate risks and increase security at federal infrastructure in the subject states, including but not limited to water infrastructure, facilities and communications systems. Tetra Tech will provide the Corps with technical expertise in the areas of risk assessment, environmental science, engineering, information technology and security design. CC |
