I was Stationed in Rockville at the Nike site from 1956 -1958. The total population then was around 6000 including all the cows in the pastures surounding this small town.I got to know many people in the area, was involved in many Civic activities. When I entered gov. in 1985 and spent time in the D C area I drove up to Rockville, much to my amazement Rockville changed so much i did not recognise any part of the down town area. I could go on and talk about Rockville,but do not want to bore you. The people that I met were very nice.
