Ari Fleischer serves up daily. From what I understand, practically nobody in the press corps takes his words at face value;

I think the Press corps has got themselves to blame for Ari. This administration thinks they have the public on their side against the press,and owes the press nothing.

I don't think that telling the public that this is a "War on Terror" diverges from the truth enough to bother the public. A judgement call, of course.

I think the main problem for the administration is that Bush cannot decide what his message is going to be. Israel really seems to have him confused. He changes sides almost weekly.
