Larry: several answers.
1. EMC - Novell. Novell had a good product, but muscled out by MS.
2. Increase in storage needs: New technologies are prempting old. 2003 will see the emerging of storage over IP technology which costs 1/10th of SAN or even NAS. EMC software will only a partial solution as Blade operating Systems take over enterprise management.
3. I haven't bought an ink cartridge for 2 years. I switched to XEROX color printers using Ink pellets.
4. WMB - SE is higher than stock price. Management action to problems has been fast and to the mark. Energy prices will go up. Seem to me WMB has a good management which gives importance to shareholder returns not so called retained earnings which Dell doesn't retain for shareholders.
