well I am having a problem with all this reliance on the vxn. First of all if everybody is watching it, its like watching water boil. Secondly didn't those 2 indicators (vix and vxn) come to light during the last few years, measuring all the volitility created in part by online traders and day traders? What was the vix on black monday (1987) anybody know - or the friday before black monday? Seems to me the vxn is a trailing indicator not a leading one. ?

PS nice to see i2 on that list of fallen stocks that might get up. I'm starting to add again after selling out at 3.9
