agree with your time frame horizons. my indirect indicator is a friend who has a machine shop in Santa Clara and tools parts for prototoypes. he has started rehiring, so I figure its one more piece of the bottoming process. Start buying the good ones (in little bits) . I have to say that trading has killed me this year, so trying to focus on the long term parts alittle more diligently!!!
