Home Sales, Prices Hit Southland Record By Daryl Strickland [LATimes] June 21 2002 Southern California homes posted record sales and prices in May, according to a report released by DataQuick Information Systems Inc. Median prices in the six-county region jumped nearly 17% from a year earlier to a record $264,000, the La Jolla consulting firm said.
