Based on no announcement and the market reaction it is pretty obvious now that the funding they were hoping for has not come through at this time. For those who have not been able to get through to the company this is what I have heard:

The major consumer products company expressed sincere regret, and said that several projects currently underway needed emergency funding that took away the opportunity to fund Cyclopss' product development. They assured Cyclopss that funding would be programmed for the January time frame. Unfortunately, this will not help with the immediate cash needs.

Cyclopss' fall back position is to work Otres and go back to the open offer with P&G to co-market the sponge sanitizer with Dawn. Alternatively, they could develop an improved sponge sanitizer design and build it in China. However, this would take funding. Although the staff is willing to continue on without salary, they are concerned about covering mortgages and other expenses.

They are working a plan to go back to P&G for funding. They have placed calls but it may take a few days for a response. Cyclopss can't imagine P&G calling the loan because there is no money to collect. The assets have no book value and of little value to P&G. I think P&G will have to support Cyclopss if they want to recoup their investment. Cyclopss has no intention of filing for bankruptcy and will make every attempt to preserve the company and opportunities to move forward.

Bill is the common thread that has kept the company alive and going for twelve years. I've been told he has written checks from his personal accounts to pay Cyclopss' bills and keep the doors open. He has gone without salary for many months in order to minimize the expenses and preserve cash. This company would have folded four years ago without Bill. Now we need him to pull one more rabbit out of his hat. That is his specialty.

I have not been selling and do not plan to sell at this time. Selling would only lock in my losses. If I had any more money, I could afford to put at risk, I would be averaging down at these prices.
