ADCT cost savings coming. Manufacturing outsourced to SLR on a flagship product. Should increase margins going forward. Allow less manufacturing capital to be used.

Solectron Announces Supply-Chain Services Agreement With ADC

MILPITAS, Calif., June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solectron Corporation (NYSE: SLR - News), a leading provider of electronics manufacturing and supply-chain management services, said today it has been selected by ADC (Nasdaq: ADCT - News) to provide manufacturing services for its Cuda 12000 Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS). The Cuda 12000 is used by cable and broadband network providers to deliver carrier-class, high-speed IP services over cable networks.

Under the two-year agreement, Solectron will provide new product introduction (NPI), printed circuit board assembly, full-systems build, systems integration, burn-in, upgrade and repair services for the Cuda 12000.
