Rick,

I'd like to upgrade to Win2000 or something, but I can't find some of my original program discs. I'm afraid of what might happen if I slick my hard drive and try to back up from any cd's that I'd make of those programs.

I have never heard of anyone who successfully let a new version of Windows simply overwrite the old one. Do you know something about this? I know "they" claim this can be done, but I'm afraid of it.

Ken
