wbmw, And if you'll recall, that didn't exactly establish Athlon MP in the market place. But I guess they can try again with Barton MP. See my post about crawling and walking. AMD is slowly building up credibility in this market. Barton will not start from scratch. It will start from base already established by Palomino, Sledgehammer will be a follow-up of Barton. It was only a year ago when we heard comments that AMD can't make a dual chipset / system, and nobody is using AMD processors in servers. AMD made a lot of progress in this 1 year. They don't have Compaq account, but they are gaining 2nd and 3rd tier vendors. Joe
