I have been generally happy with e.Schwab.

Unfortunately today, Tues 7/16, their system stopped working shortly after the big climb back started from the market pits of down 160 on the DJIA. The system was down for approx 45 minutes. I called in and was told it was down because of the extraordinarily busy market - new volume records were set for both NYSE and NASDAQ.

But I changed to e.Schwab just to enhance the chances of having market access at these important times. Since it was down, many opportunities were missed. I am sooooo disappointed in Schwab today.
