Every trade is traceable. All of this information can be requested at your brokerage firm. If they don`t, take legal action agaisnt them. The time and sales report will give you everything you need to support your case. The only problem is that when you noticed that the trade was`nt filled you should have requested a status of the order. Sometimes in fast markets floor brokers will not report trades right away so you will get a delay on a trade. This is besides the fact that you were do a fill without getting hassled from etrade.
