HFC hasn't really affected my daytrading that much. I had ISDN before, so I already had adequate speed. I do notice that it's faster when I use my own software to bring up a watchlist of 1000 or so stocks. (RT3 is limited to 500). I suppose order entry is incrementally faster, but, frankly, ISDN, again, is quite adequate.

Where HFC *is* different is that it is MUCH cheaper. I do not trade full-time. Even so, my monthly bill for ISDN and my ISP was running in the $100 to $120 range. If I were to trade full-time, the bill would have been closer to $200. Now I pay $39/mo, period.
