España will have to take control of things early if they truly want the cup...

One thing they cannot do is go to OT... as even if they win... they will be a lot more tired than Brasil...

Partially, that's what took care of the (real) Italians in 1970.

Italy beat the Germans in the best game I ever saw in OT 4 x 3 (no PK's) both teams ran up and down that field for 120 minutes... by the time they reach the final, Brasil made spaghetti out of them with a 4 x 1 score...

Even if it was a factor, no one would have beaten that team, Pelé, Tostao, Gerson, Rivelino, Jairzihno, Clodoaldo, Carlos-Alberto and many other greats....

So... España should score early and not rest there, at lest a 2 goal advantage should be sought... Korea will not be an easy game..

One thing I just realized is that Brasil has had a much easier route... España needs to defeat Korea and Germany, Brasil, did away with England already and neither Senegal or Turkey would be veru difficult for them... BUT

This is the year for España
