I find the drop of late to be more than just trending with the market. I haven't owned this for a while, but still follow Amkor lightly.

If I had to guess, it might be due to their tremendous debt, which they cannot pay down if business does not pick up. That would point toward bankruptcy as their only course, which would make the recent action reasonable. But what do I know?

Incidentally, they are also a big customer of Intel, but not so much as to justify this sort of drop!
