JPR:

I am sure it is hard to talk with people who lost relatives--especially since you yourself almost lost your son.

Having said this I go on to make the following statement.
These terrorists are not evil per se. They are not doing this for fun. They repreresent an outlet for political aspirations that have not been able to find any other way to achieve their political aims. It is a strategy born of desperation. To their mind they have nothing to lose.

They are more or less stateless with little or no means of achieving some homeland of their own absent the terrorist method.

Condeming them is not a solution.

Eradicating would be solution if you could do it, but you can not get them all.

Therefore, some means has to be found to bring them into the political process. And that is the problem as I see it. How, and through what means, are these people going to brought into the political process?

I don't have the answer, but I submit until a way is found terrorism is not going to go away.
