Hi, John -
"This really is an interesting situation."
The possibilities are endless. The fact is that the company is now in a vulnerable position, as are its investors. The primary reason is Acqua selling, which brought us to this point. The secondary reasons are lack of revenues, lack of approvals, lack of confidence, a nervous Bear Market, thin trading, and who knows what else.
I made the point about our personal ability to precipitate Friday's price drop, to demonstrate the fact that the stock had become delicately poised over the chasm at $3, and very vulnerable.
The movement of a few thousand shares - out of almost 50 million - caused the market cap to drop by a third?
Ridiculous! Ludicrous...but it happened.
I don't want to dispute any particular view of these events. I still see it as a strange anomaly, as easily cured, as caused. I don't see any great significance, or hidden meaning. I don't see the simple sale of a few thousand shares as demonstrating anything.
IMHO, the danger is not in the event, and not in some undetermined meaning. It's in continued vulnerability, and possible futures.
