T-SHIRTS:
While we are on the subject of T shirts, here's a story about my Guru, Adi Da.
Probably 20 years ago, while he was at our Retreat Sanctuary in Fiji, Adi Da received a gift from a devotee, which was a very classy but imposing leather jacket. At the time he was clad only in swimming briefs, but he put it on, and affected a tough-looking expression on his face.
Someone took a picture of him "posing". He is a powerfully built man, and he looked TOUGH.
When the picture was developed, he was shown a copy and he got a good laugh over it. He then suggested we could put it on a T-shirt and use it for Missionary purposes with biker groups (not exactly our most likely market).
Somebody asked: "Besides the picture, what would the wording be?"
He said: "It would say, "I can out-drink, out-fight and out-fuck any man alive"
That sort of stunned the people around and so they asked,
"why that?". And he said: "Well, it's true, and that's what they're interested in".
(not the exact words, in each case, but the general idea).
And just for those who are really turned off by this I would add that this description does not match Adi Da's
behaviour.
