I like to be long stocks that go up
and like to be short stocks that go down
To survive one must buy low and sell higher (or reverse the order if you prefer). Any other strategy makes you a canidate for a Darwinan award.
Claiming that a idea is a winner because it went down less than something else is to rationalize a poor decision.
