Given these horrors, and nail bombs aimed at babies filled with bolts smeared in rat poison, I am surprised at the restraint the Israelis have shown.
Americans would show no such restraint. Indeed, there have been 10,000 collateral casualties in Afghanistan.
Such is war. And why is there this war? Because Arafat and Hamas couldn't stand the notion that Barak was offering peace, so they did everything they could to bring him down. |
