I recommend non-violence to Palestinians because I believe the Israelis will not massacre non-violent protestors.

Most violence I have heard of on the part of Israelis against Palestinians has directly followed violent attacks they have received. And thus can be classified as retalitary counter-attack.

OTOH the continuation of Palestinian bombing attacks during periods when Israel was exercising restraint cannot be reasonably viewed as acts of retalitation.

Next, if adoption of non-violence is too much, you will note I also suggested that they could and should at least exercise restraint in the choice of targets.
