I recommend non-violence to Palestinians because I believe the Israelis will not massacre non-violent protestors.

Despite the long history of Israeli brutality towards Palestinian protesters? What we have here is your racist contempt for Arabs.

As another example, the Palestinians tried nonviolence in 1981. A cease-fire was negotiated between Israel and the Palestinians in Lebanon. The Palestinians observed it despite several thousand Israeli violations. After about a year of failing to provoke a Palestinian reaction, Israel launched its invasion of Lebanon. That resulted in the massacre of 20,000 Lebanese and Palestinians.
