Herb, Re: “The widely-expected pickup in the second half of the year - which begins in a little over a week - appears to be on track” Realistically, I think the stock market will lag the recovery. The bears are still firmly in charge of the market. Even if things are to improve, stocks may still go down. I'd say that anyone looking for long positions should buy in pretty soon, and wait until next year to see the returns. wbmw
