I've had money in Selects for over 10 years. The 3% load everyone bitches is miniscule when compared with others. For many years I traded FSESX and FSELX. They moved in opposition to each other and made me many dollarskis. I hold it for its conservatism and convenience of trading in and out. If I weren't in Fidelity, I'd probably do Gabelli's Gold fund.
