You have been showing amazing patience with this problem! I would have thrown everything out the window by now. Good thing I operate from the ground floor.

Quality deficiencies may be your problem. By that I mean the diagnostic software as you indicated, the motherboard (by the way, would you mind mentioning the motherboard model and chipset being used?), and even The Geforce 4 card. I like this chipset but are you aware there are a half dozen or more OEMs that make this board from chipsets supplied by Nvidia? Some of these OEMs are quite cheap and that always makes me worry about quality.

Does your diagnostic software really have the capability to check the Geforce board or are you using Geforce diagnostics?
