this is absolutely it. These companies try to make it seem that they're a good solid honest company that is being bad mouthed and shorted for no reason when that is not the case. The hedge fund managers research out tons of stocks and pick the stinkiest that fall within their financial parameters. They don't go after winners when there are so many losers around, especially today.

Also, Asensio said that a big red flag to a suspect company is a company that responds in any way to shorters or "bashers." This company really messed themselves up. It's always these egomaniacal ceo's who shoot themselves in the foot. Of course they're generally the ones hiding the ugly things under the table also also.
