Wolf, "the rule is "20 posts in six hours" on the same thread" See, this is exactly what peeves me about SI. I didn't know about the above rule! Does SI post this rule anywhere in their TOU? If they have, I can't find it. It is completely understandable that SI wishes to maintain a certain decorum in these message boards. That's fine, and I approve wholeheartedly, but when not a single person in their staff is willing to take the effort to publish these rules for all to see, it justifiably leaves them wide open to charges of abuse. I think one can make a good case that SI does not always enforce their rules fairly and uniformly. Anthony's "re-election" to remain on the board after many abuses being one obvious example. I don't see how SI can reasonably expect compliance without a set of standards that are clearly and concisely laid out for the members and are enforced uniformly for everyone. Am I the only here who sees the potential of abuse without them? I wonder what other goodies they have in their rule book that we, the collective, don't know about, aren't familiar with and won't be apprised of anytime soon.
