Mike,
You misunderstood. I wasnt addressing you. I was just rambling. I know you know. Some Americans dont. I see in my post where you may have misunderstood and i am profoundly sorry for that.
I come from the peace side of things. I did not go to Vietnam and was not in the military. What i believe now concerns me greatly because i know young men and women may die. My focus is on El Quaida. I am tired of protecting the saudis and the pakistanis and the iranians to some extent who all give sanction to the terrorists. Sadaam is another story and i fear a war with sadam will be a diversion from what job 1 should be and that is the destruction of el quaida (and those states that dont break with them) by any means necessary. Eveb Arafat attacked iran and syria for exasberation terror in the middle east. There is no direct relationship between sadaam and terror or at least no proof. His goal has been to be a regional power. We may need to let him do that at least in the short run so we can achieve our objectives.
Sorry again for the misunderstanding, mike.
