System Talks Inc., Agrees to License TouchStone's BIOS Wizard Technology
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 2002--Touchstone Software Corporation's eSupport.com Division (OTCBB: TSSW - News), today announced that they have signed a license agreement with System Talks Inc., allowing them to distribute eSupport.com's BIOS Wizard application within their external storage device technology. The BIOS Wizard is the PC Industry's first true web application to test a PC's BIOS (Basic Input Output System) for system critical compatibility with the latest industry standards, including PCI, ACPI, PnP (Plug and Play) Windows 2000, Windows XP and 32bit EIDE Hard Drive technology.
As more users migrate toward upgrading their PC's, they will be faced with difficult decisions regarding hardware compatibility issues with the system BIOS that is installed on their PCs. BIOS Wizard now makes this upgrade process faster and easier. BIOS Wizard leverages Touchstone's existing leading edge BIOS technology and knowledge base. Moreover, should the BIOS Wizard determine that the PC's BIOS is nonconforming to industry standards it then links the user to Touchstone's eSupport.com website (http://www.esupport.com), which showcases its BIOS Upgrade technology.
