Spent the weekend in Yellow Stone . Fishing the Madison ,Fire Hole and Gibbon rivers ,Snake River wuz a raging torrent. In between dodgin grazin buffalo ( who could givea damn ) caught rainbow and Browns 10" to 14" all on drys in spite of all the snow melt runnoff. Yellow Stone River closed due to spawning Cuthroats....Saw'em lookin off of "fishin Bridge" ...No fishin of course....Not too many crowds. spring is awesome in that place.How the hell can I come back to this dump after seein that place is a godamn mystery in it self! God damn plane took about 11 hrs counting early arrival for security,cab to airport baggage hassle,renta car BS,and layover in Denver waitn for second leg....A lousy 800 miles.Next time I'm drivin!
