Race, My favorite show bets are when I have horses coupled or even tripled and any one of them would be the favorite on its own. However, in quarter horses, that isn't as good a bet as my 2 or 3 would always find a way to run into each other out of the gate.

The trainer is closer than an analyst can be and trainers also know something. Analysts generally report what the co. tells them, which is similar to buying a tout sheet from a guy in a booth. <g>

I honestly don't believe the agenda is hidden on stocks. Banks want to make banking fees. They allow folks to read some sort of "impartial advice" into the equation, but I don't believe it's ever been there. Also, it doesn't matter what the agenda is, these guys couldn't pick stocks if they were totally free to say what they think.

Are you saying all those giant brokerage house headquarters weren't just clopped together by Jimmy Carter and his amateur carpenters? <g>
