In this market that is what is happening. Look at HWP, it warned of an earnings estimate shortfall when it's stock was at $59.00. The stock dropped to a low of $51.00 and is now trading at 65 3/4. This certainly is the quarter to get all the skeletons out the closet. All you have to do is put on a good conference call after marginal or bad earnings are reported and the market won't punish you. Bad performers are going up and great performers are skyrocketing.When money managers start changing their asset allocations to more cash and bonds it is going to be an ugly market.
