George....RE:..... I just like teams to attack<g>

Me too!!!! It drives me up a wall to see teams go into defensive
posture when they are leading by one or two goals.

I kept telling my wife that Ireland was going to score before the end of the game.......
and they did.

At least they didn't stop attacking after the first goal against Saudi Arabia.
At that moment I was concerned they might do that....then I was happy to
see further action thinking they might continue this in the next games.
No such luck.

However, their two top playmakers (Deissler and Scholl) are injured.
Ballack came in to the WC less than 100%.

Spain, Brazil, Senegal, Turkey, have played some entertaining soccer.

The Dieter Müller camp was Monday - Friday (August 2000), 3 meals and overnight (only $350/child).
They had swimming, campfire dinner, and go cart racing in the evenings.
Bed and Breakfast in the Westerwald region northwest of Frankfurt.
There are usually only about 20-30 kids.
For $34 we ended up buying expensive Puma warmups with the School's name.
The kids can still wear them proudly.

Yes, I've heard parents (from the other team) call to "take out" my kids.
My oldest boy spent two months in a wheel chair (two broken ankles) fouled from behind,
after the whistle had blown for the initial foul. This was in October 2000.

It is unfortunate that parents try to relive their lives through their kids with such
misplaced zeal. A lot of kids are being turned off by this and turning to other activities
